  1. Challenge

    Collect inspection data in the field at a transportation agency.

  2. Response

    • Expanded the use of mobile tools such as Survey123 to collect information, capture multimedia, and log precise location and metadata with each submission
    • Showed priority repairs on an interactive map in Survey123, so field crews could see existing repairs relative to where they stood, saving time and preventing duplicate work
    • Completed successful pilot inspections at several field locations
