    Keep the city's roadway network mapping up to date.

  2. Response

    • Coordinated between the city and Google Maps, Apple Maps, TomTom, HERE, Lyft, Uber and Waze to implement one-way direction changes on a set of streets
    • Corrected the coordinates of addresses across the city on Google Maps
    • Worked with Jersey City and other agencies to settle the correct names of roadways under ambiguous jurisdiction
    • Advised the city on strategies to reduce congestion caused by through traffic

  3. Impact

    • Streamlined submission and tracking of mapping change requests
    • Better service for navigation app users
    • Less unnecessary traffic on side streets
